A conference presentation examining the question of authenticity within queer neo-pagan religious practice. Draws on ethnographic fieldwork in Montreal's pagan community to analyse how practitioners negotiate authentic identities against the background of fluid gender norms, non-institutional spiritual forms, and queer experience. The paper developed into the 2018 Religiologiques article of the same name.
