Lotus

Agency scorer and reflective workbench.

Score a note in the browser, see which pressures rise to the surface, and move straight into the full LOTUS vector model below.

One route, two depths: a quick reading of the note, then the longer vector model when you need to stay with the shape of the situation.

Workbench

Map the pressure in your own words.

Paste a journal entry, a situation note, or a working fragment. LOTUS reads for signal groups that gather around constraint, support, meaning, and room to act. The reading stays in your browser.

Scorer

Paste a note. See where the pressure gathers.

Markdown or plain text

LOTUS strips markdown noise before scoring. The reading stays in your browser; this public surface does not upload or save the note.

Vector model

Trace what narrows agency, and what keeps it open.

For researchers, clinicians, and practitioners who need a structured reading of a situation. Rate base state, constraints, and supports, and LOTUS computes the effective agency vector through the full formula chain.

Signal library

Six patterns LOTUS listens for.

These are not personality types. They are recurring forms of pressure, condition, and capacity: how choices narrow, how institutions bear down, how execution frays, and how meaning or creative life either holds or thins out.

Strategic

How direction, options, and longer-range planning are present or absent in a situation.

Governance

How accountability, oversight, and institutional structures shape what a person can access or expect.

9

Representative terms

governance, policy, procurement, oversight, compliance

Operational

How practical capacity, coordination, and daily execution hold up or break down under load.

7

Representative terms

operations, workflow, execution, delivery, implementation

Agency

How much real choice, influence, and capacity to act remain when pressure is high.

10

Representative terms

agency, autonomy, influence, choice, self determination

Creative

How imagination, story, and aesthetic expression are present — or suppressed — in a situation.

What LOTUS does not claim

LOTUS can clarify a situation. It cannot finish the interpretation.

A clear read can widen room to act. But any reading remains partial, revisable, and answerable to context. LOTUS is built to support reflection without collapsing the person into the frame.

LOTUS does not diagnose.

LOTUS is not a medical or diagnostic device. It can surface patterns and language around pressure, but it does not produce clinical conclusions or replace professional assessment.

A score is not a self.

Any score is a reading of conditions, constraints, and supports at a moment in time. It is not character, worth, destiny, or fixed identity. Interpretation must remain revisable.

Boundaries protect dignity.

LOTUS should not be used to sort, exploit, or manipulate vulnerable people. It is designed to support understanding, dignity, and better pathways to care or action, not high-stakes decisions without human judgment.
